Amylase and pancrelipase and triacylglycerol lipase only product Is a Amylase- and pancrelipase- and triacylglycerol lipase-containing product true Inferred relationship Existential restriction modifier (core metadata concept)
Amylase and pancrelipase and triacylglycerol lipase only product The clinically relevant part or whole of the substance that is intended to have a therapeutic action on or within the body. It excludes esters, salts or other non-covalent derivatives (such as a complex, chelate etc.), but may include secondary modifications. A substance containing enzymes, mainly lipase, with amylase and protease, obtained from the pancreas of the hog. It is a cream-coloured, amorphous powder having a faint characteristic, but not offensive odour. Its greatest activities are in neutral or faintly alkaline media; more than traces of mineral acids or large amounts of alkali hydroxides make it inert. An excess of alkali carbonate also inhibits its action. Pancrelipase contains, in each mg, not less than 24 USP units of lipase activity, not less than 100 USP units of amylase activity, and not less than 100 USP units of protease activity. true Inferred relationship Existential restriction modifier (core metadata concept) 2
