Parkinson-dementia complex of Guam A rare neurodegenerative disease characterized by extrapyramidal symptoms (rigidity, tremor, bradykinesia) and dementia, typically beginning in the fifth or sixth decade of life and progressing to a vegetative state with pelvicrural flexion contractures within few years. Oculomotor signs, olfactory dysfunction, and autonomic disturbances may also be observed. Neuropathological hallmarks are frontotemporally accentuated cerebral atrophy, as well as neurofibrillary tangles and neuronal loss in a characteristic distribution in cortical and subcortical regions. The disease is endemic to the Pacific Island of Guam.

Partial epilepsy with autonomic symptoms A type of epilepsy with only focal onset epileptic seizures. Seizures can arise from a single location or multiple locations.
Partial epilepsy with impairment of consciousness A type of epilepsy with only focal onset epileptic seizures. Seizures can arise from a single location or multiple locations.
Partial epilepsy with impairment of consciousness NOS A type of epilepsy with only focal onset epileptic seizures. Seizures can arise from a single location or multiple locations.
Partial epileptic seizure of frontal lobe with impairment of consciousness An epileptic seizure originating within unilateral networks limited to the frontal lobe. The frontal lobe gives rise to seizures with distinctive features depending on the area of the frontal lobe involved. Motor features may be prominent. These seizures typically last 10 to 40 seconds and have minimal postictal confusion.
Partial epileptic seizure of occipital lobe with impairment of consciousness An epileptic seizure originating within unilateral networks limited to the occipital lobe. Seizures arising in the occipital lobe are characterised by subjective visual phenomenon and/or oculomotor features such as forced eye closure, eyelid fluttering, eye deviation and nystagmus.
Partial epileptic seizure of parietal lobe with impairment of consciousness An epileptic seizure originating within unilateral networks limited to the parietal lobe. Positive and/or negative sensory features occur. Typically, paresthesia is reported but disorientation, complex visual hallucinations, vertiginous and visual illusions and disturbance of body image (somatic illusion) can occur. Receptive language impairment can occur with dominant hemisphere involvement. Ipsilateral or contralateral rotatory body movements can occur.
Partial epileptic seizure of temporal lobe with impairment of consciousness An epileptic seizure originating within unilateral networks limited to the temporal lobe. Temporal lobe seizures are characterized by behavioral arrest and impaired awareness. There may be sensory (auditory), emotional (fear), cognitive (deja vu) or autonomic features (epigastric sensation, tachycardia, color change) in isolation or prior to onset of impaired awareness. Postictal confusion typically occurs.

Partial seizure with illusions and hallucinations An epileptic seizure originating within networks limited to one hemisphere where disturbance of cognition is the predominant feature, regardless of whether aware or with impaired awareness. Cognitive deficits are deficits in language, thinking or associated higher cortical functions during seizures.
