Benign tumour of spinal nerve and sheath Is a True Neoplasm of spinal nerve and sheath (disorder) Inferred relationship Some
Extraneural perineurioma is a rare tumor of cranial and spinal nerves arising from peripheral nerve sheet and composed exclusively or predominantly of cells showing perineurial differentiation. It presents as a well-circumscribed, rarely encapsulated mass, not associated with a recognizable nerve, most commonly arising in the dermis and subcutis of the extremities or trunk, or, rarely, in deep soft tissue or skin (e.g., in the stomach, kidney, pancreas, maxillary sinus, mandible, bronchial tree and the face). The clinical presentation depends on the localization. Is a True Neoplasm of spinal nerve and sheath (disorder) Inferred relationship Some
Intraneural perineurioma is a rare tumor of cranial and spinal nerves arising from peripheral nerve sheath and composed exclusively or predominantly of cells showing perineurial differentiation. It presents as a localized, tubular or fusiform enlargement of a nerve or nerve segment, usually in the extremities or the trunk, associated with a motor-predominant mononeuropathy including slow, painless, gradual loss of motor function in the involved nerve trunk with muscle weakness and atrophy and, rarely, sensory dysfunction. Cranial nerve involvement is rare. Is a True Neoplasm of spinal nerve and sheath (disorder) Inferred relationship Some
